St. Petersburg Traffic School
Traffic from tourists visiting the beach, events going on at the Tropicana Field, and rush hour on the Gandy Bridge can turn the most patient people impatient. Even with these inconveniences on the road, you must remember to obey laws set out to keep everyone safe.
Speeding increases reaction time and can cause crashes. Distractions, like texting or talking on the phone, can cause you to take your eyes off the road and increase your chances of a collision. Running a red light may result in a T-bone collision if other cars are entering the intersection.
If you have received a ticket for one of these violations, make sure you pay it and elect to attend traffic school. Once you have taken that step, sign up for our 4-Hour Basic Driver Improvement course. By doing so, you will avoid points from your driver's license.
How to pay your ticket
Pay your ticket with the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court in one of the following ways:
- Online: Use your credit or debit card for a simple transaction through the Clerk's Online Payment Center.
- By phone: If you do not have a computer or would like to go a more traditional route, dial (727) 464-4846 and use the automated system. Pay with a credit or debit card.
- By mail: Mail the envelope that you received with your ticket along with a check or money order and the form.
- Via Amscot: You can make a cash payment in person at any Amscot location near you.
- In Person: For all payment methods, visit one of the court locations listed below.
