Gainesville Traffic School
Gainesville is best known for the University of Florida. With that, a large population of college-aged residents live in the area. Alcohol related crashes were most prevalent among 21-year-old drivers. Following behind, 20 year olds have the second highest rate of fatalities.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles released their Annual Uniform Traffic Citation Report for 2013 and revealed that 66,504 traffic citations were issued in the county. 822 of those were cited for DUI.

How To Pay Your Traffic Ticket
If you received a ticket and have the option of attending traffic school, sign up for it so that points do not go on your driver's license. A signed Driver Improvement Course Affidavit form must be filed within 30 days of the issue date and a payment needs to be made if you select this option. Once you have already paid for the ticket without opting in for traffic school, you are not allowed to take the course.
