Jacksonville Traffic School

If you received a traffic ticket in Jacksonville, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach or anywhere else in Duval County, we can help you get those points removed from your license.

In Duval County you will have 90 days from the date the ticket was issued to respond to the citation. You must contest the ticket, pay the ticket, or elect to take a 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement course.

If you elect to take traffic school, you must first notify the Duval County Court to approve the request. There are two ways to do this:

By Mail: Mail in your citation along with cash, money order, or personal check for the associated fine to:

Ronnie Fussell, Clerk of Courts
Traffic Violations Bureau
P.O. Box 660
Jacksonville, FL 32201

You should receive a school registration packet in the mail from the court within 10 days. If you do not receive this packet, contact the Duval County court.

In Person: Appear at a Duval County court and request to take traffic school. You will also need to pay the associated fine at this time using check, cash, money order, Visa or MasterCard. There are two locations where you may do this.

Traffic Violations Bureau
501 West Adams St
Jacksonville, FL 32202

Beaches Branch
1543 Atlantic Blvd
Atlantic Beach, FL 32233

Once you are approved to take traffic school you will have 90 days from the date of the citation to complete the course and submit a certificate of completion. The certificate can be mailed to the above address or submitted in person to one of the above locations.
