Is this course approved by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles?
Absolutely. The Court-Ordered Driver Improvement Course is certified by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) and is accepted by all Florida courts.
Do I need to take this course?
A judge or Florida court will assign drivers to take this course due to various circumstances. If you have been ordered to take an 8-hour Driver Improvement Course, then this course will satisfy that requirement.
Can I take this course on my phone or tablet?
Yes, this course is 100% online and can be completed on any device.
I have never taken an online course before, how does it work?
To take an online course, all you need is to create an account. Because the course is online, it can fit around your schedule. You can log into and out of the course as many times as you need, and during any time of day. Complete the course at your own pace, spending as much time as you need on each section, as long as you meet the state's 8-hour time requirement.
This course is broken into 15 modules, each of which has a small quiz. The course will automatically save your process as you go along. While this course has a final exam, you can take it up to three times.
How long is this course?
The state mandates this course to be at least 8-hours long, though students make take longer to complete the course.
Do I have to take this course all at once?
Unlike taking a course in a classroom, you do not have to take this course in one sitting. You can log in and out of the course as many times as you need.
Does this course have a final exam?
Yes, this course has a final exam. However, you have three attempts to achieve an 80% or higher. To learn more, check out the course details.
When do I get my certificate?
You will receive your certificate after completing the course. There are several options available including free standard shipping. If you need your certificate immediately we offer overnight and email delivery options.
My license was suspended, should I take this course to reinstate it?
No, this course does not qualify as a 12-hour Advanced Driver Improvement Course or an 8-hour DWLS/R course.
